I was born in the Bay Area near San Francisco. After marrying my husband Todd, who was born and raised in Mt. Shasta, California, we decided to raise our family here in 1996. Todd is a wildland firefighter for the U.S. Forest Service for the Shasta-Trinity area. We have three beautiful daughters.
After owning my own business, working in law enforcement, and working for the U.S. Forest Service for several years, in 2004, I was encouraged by my sister Tara, who is an attorney in Nashville, Tennessee, to further my education in the area of law. I then attended a Paralegal studies program through Kaplan University. I graduated in January of 2006 with a Paralegal Certificate.
In February of 2006, I was hired by the law firm of Kirsher, Winston & Boston, LC. Primarily working with Robert D. Winston as his Paralegal. I also enjoy assisting Robert B. Boston in his family law practice. My areas of practice are real estate, business, civil litigation, and assisting Mr. Winston as City Attorney to the City of Weed, General Counsel to Lake Shastina Community Services District and the City of Fort Jones. Being a Paralegal is very fulfilling and challenging. The law changes constantly and no two cases are identical. I enjoy assisting people and our community with their legal issues.
